Whether its called ';Public Option'; or a ';Co-Op'; isn't the simple recipe that Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi are following to get Single-payer is to create a healthcare insurance option that is underwritten by taxpayers and then a dramatic increase in the cost of health insurance such that the only one that stays in business is the one underwritten by tax payers that has a guaranteed cost of no more than 8% to employers or individuals?
Doesn't Representative Paul Ryan of Wisconisin pretty much explain how Obama %26amp; Pelosi are intent on this Trojan Horse concept with their healthcare bill:

Or should we suddenly believe that Barack Obama is not a ';proponent of a single-payer healthcare program';?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpAyan1fX鈥?/a>Is the recipe for Single-Payer simply having an insurance option underwritten by taxpayer %26amp; increased cost...?
Why shouldn't Single-Payer be the end goal?Is the recipe for Single-Payer simply having an insurance option underwritten by taxpayer %26amp; increased cost...?
One can conclude one of two things:
1. Obama doesn't know what he's talking about, and he's just ';yessing'; the crowd in front of him.
2. This is classic incrementalism. Get as much as you can now, knowing that this is not the end.
Quite frankly, either one is possible.
